If you’re buying work heels with strap, make sure that the strap is adjustable so that it comfortably fits your feet even if they are swollen.
Look for Great Cushioning
When it comes to high heels, having a cushioned insole is important for a variety of reasons. For one, they help distribute your weight evenly across the shoe, which can ensure greater stability and help maintain proper body posture. If you want additional support, opt for work heels with strap which can ensure your feet stay in place so you don’t teeter while walking. Moreover, this balanced distribution of weight also helps reduce the pressure on your knees and lower back. Besides the inside, also check the soles on the outside, as they help decrease the impact your shoes take from the ground. How High is Too High?
Extremely high heels are not the healthiest choice if you’re going to be walking in them for more than 8 hours a day. In general, heels that are not higher than 5 cm are considered comfortable to wear at the office and all day long. If you’re planning to get wider platform heels, you can get away with the additional 1-2 extra centimetres. But if we’re talking about stilettos, every pair that’s more than 4 cm high comes with the risk of getting injured.
