A clean home reflects on your character and how organized you are. But in some cases cleaning your house can be a tough job if you don’t have the right tools and cleaning materials. For instance, when you are doing detailed cleaning, some items may require more effort in order to be cleaned. For instance, carpets can be very annoying to wash at home. In the past people used only druggets to clean carpets. These simple gadgets were thick pieces of wool spread under tables and furniture to catch dirt and food crumbs. But today carpet cleaning is made much easier if you own special carpet equipment. But how many households buy these carper cleaners gadgets and are people aware that they are being sold for home usage.

There are many carpet cleaning devices that are being improved every year, but we will only describe the three most popular : Dry Carpet , steam carpet and bonnet carpet cleaning machines.

Dry cleaning machines, as the name implies, combine dry vacuum cleaning with dry chemicals that are applied to the carpet and left for 15-30 minutes to dissolve every single bit of dirt. After that the machine sets vacuum settings to high-suction in order to absorb all the dirt on the carpet and cleaning materials that attract them. Usually these machines are used by professional carpet cleaners that work in commercial buildings, especially offices and high-traffic hallways.

Steam carpet cleaners on the other hand use heated water and washing detergent to clean carpets. More precisely, water is sprayed on the carpet while a specially attached brush from the machine rotates to catch all dirt and junk that we cannot see with bare eye. Steam carpet cleaning machines have an option where you need to pull them backwards in order to withdraw the water detergent from the carpet. These machines have two large water tanks – one for clean water, other for dirty water. It can run on hot and cold water so this is not a problem as you may think at first.

Similar to floor commercial cleaning machines are bonnet carpet cleaners. They basically use the same technology, only customized for carpets. Moreover, water is used for better results and the machine uses cleaning pads that can be changed if used for a longer period. However thin carpets are not advisable to be washed with these machines as there is a great possibility to damage the device.
